YOU, the audience goers, will help decide the winners, by voting for the nominees during the festival. This year's Uni-Fest will feature eight distinct award categories. They are as followed:

1. Best Film

2. Best Director

3. Best Performance

4. Best Editing

5. Best Screenplay

6. Best Sound (includes Soundtrack)

7. Best Cinematography (includes Lighting and Camera Shots)

8. Best International Film

*Note: Each category with the exception of Best Film will have 4 nominees. Best Film will have 5 nominees.
